NewsLoop is a news aggregation mobile app (both iOS and Android) developed by Singtel, a telecommunications company based in Singapore. It’s designed to provide users with personalized news content from various sources based on their interests and preferences. It has since discontinued in 2019.

Product Vision
Be the leading news mobile app in the South East Asia region.
Revamp of the app
Led the app revamp initiative, implementing a contemporary design for enhanced user experience. Developed detailed timelines and deliverables, ensuring client satisfaction.
Leading a team of mobile engineers
Ensured that development teams keep pace with timelines and align milestones for feature rollouts consistently across mobile operating systems.
Deep-Linking feature
Managed the rollout of the Deep Linking feature, guaranteeing seamless content sharing across online platforms and social media channels, directing users efficiently to the app.
Mobile App Widgets
Introduced personalized top news and content widgets, including the pioneering Samsung Edge widget, across both mobile operating systems, enhancing user experience with tailored information delivery.
Results and Success Metrics
- Achieved 1 Million downloads on iOS post-revamp.
- Increased loading speed by 50% by refactoring of code post revamp.
